TBT Stream is a real-time video streaming and statistical analysis software designed for volleyball. Stream video from your camera to tablets, smartphones and computers on your local network, with advanced tactical analysis features: delay buffer, frame-by-frame navigation, telestrator, local recording, video filters, clip download and — in the PRO version — a full statistics client with graphical match data visualization.

Local network streaming

Stream high-quality video to all devices connected to the gym’s LAN network. No internet required: a local network is all you need to reach courtside tablets, scouting stations and any web browser.

Real-time tactical analysis

With the configurable delay buffer and frame-by-frame navigation, the coach can review the previous rally while play continues on court. Each client device can set its own delay independently.

Statistics & graphical analysis PRO

Integrated statistics client with real-time graphical visualization: attack distribution, trajectories, serve/reception zones, per-fundamental tables and advanced filters. Compatible with Ace databases and DVW files.

Video Streaming

TBT Stream uses the HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) protocol to ensure maximum compatibility with all devices. The server encodes the video in real time and makes it available to clients via a simple web address.

Delay Buffer

TBT Stream - Client delay

The delay buffer is the key feature for in-match tactical analysis. It allows delaying the video transmission from 0 to 60 seconds, letting the coach review the previous rally while play continues on court.

Player Client

Recording and Video Filters

Statistics Client PRO

TBT Stream PRO - Attack trajectories

The PRO version of TBT Stream includes a browser-based statistics client that reads match data in real time from Ace databases and DVW files. Data is displayed graphically across 5 dedicated interfaces, with automatic updates during the match.

  • Scoreboard: live score, set-by-set results, lineups and substitutions
  • Statistics: per-fundamental tables (attack, reception, serve, block, dig, set, errors) with efficiency, positive percentage and automatic color coding
  • Distribution: attack distribution by zone (1-6) and setter position, with percentages, efficiency, top attackers and repetition rates
  • Trajectories: graphical court visualization of attack trajectories by zone or by player, with first/second line distinction
  • Serve/Reception Zones: dual court display with arrows from origin to destination zone, by setter position or by player

Filters and advanced analysis PRO

The statistics client offers a comprehensive advanced filtering system to isolate and analyze specific game situations. Filters apply in real time and can be freely combined.

Global filters (active across all interfaces):

  • Specific set or all sets
  • Sets won or sets lost
  • Setter position (P1-P6) for both teams
  • Score phase (0-10, 10-20, 15+, 20+)

Trajectory and distribution filters:

  • Attack starting zone (front row, back row, specific combinations)
  • Game phase: side-out or break point (transition)
  • Previous reception quality (#, +, !, -)
  • Reception origin zone (1-9)
  • Receiving player
  • Minimum number of attempts to display a trajectory

Serve and reception filters:

  • Serve zone (1, 5, 6 and combinations)

Custom Views PRO

TBT Stream PRO allows you to create custom views by freely combining different statistical widgets — courts, tables and indicators — on user-configurable tabs.

  • Build your analysis by choosing from a widget catalog: trajectories, distribution, statistical tables, serve/reception courts
  • Each widget has its own independent filters
  • Multiple customizable tabs loadable from a single configuration, to quickly switch between different analysis screens without scrolling
  • Save and reload configurations to prepare pre-match analysis and reuse it across different matches

The goal is to give every analyst and coach the ability to build a tailor-made analysis interface for their specific needs, displaying exactly the data they need in the most effective format.

Data Compatibility PRO

The statistics client is compatible with the two most widely used formats in volleyball analysis:

  • Ace Evolution Database: direct .db file reading with full support for all fundamentals, attack cones, serve/reception zones and advanced filters
  • Files DVW: complete .dvw file parsing with extraction of attack zones, serve, reception, evaluations, serve type and reception-to-attack linking

Data is monitored in real time: when the file is updated by the scouting software during the match, the statistics client refreshes automatically.

How it works

Install the server

Install TBT Stream on the computer connected to the camera. Select the video source and configure resolution and quality.

Start streaming

Press the start button. TBT Stream begins broadcasting video on the local network. The live preview is visible directly in the server window.

Connect from any device

Open a browser on your tablet or smartphone and type the address shown by the server. No app to install: works with Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox.

Analyze in real time

Set your desired delay, navigate frame-by-frame, draw with the telestrator, save screenshots and download clips. With the PRO version, open the statistics client to view distribution, trajectories and zones in real time.

Compatibility

TBT Stream is compatible with any USB webcam and with video capture cards that support DirectShow on Windows. Most modern webcams and capture cards (Elgato, Magewell, recent AVerMedia models) work directly.

For older capture cards such as the AVerMedia C875, you can use OBS Studio as an intermediary via its “Virtual Camera” feature. The flow is: Camera → Capture Card → OBS → OBS Virtual Camera → TBT Stream.

TBT Stream is available in two versions:

  • TBT Stream: video streaming, delay buffer, telestrator, recording, video filters, configuration profiles. Everything you need for real-time video analysis.
  • TBT Stream PRO: includes all base version features plus the full statistics client with 5 visualization interfaces, advanced filters, Ace/DVW compatibility and custom views.
